Guest speaker is Mike McIntosh. Mike became fascinated about ‘perceived’ dangerous animals and our misunderstanding of these species. For most of his life, bears have been his focus. He founded the Bear With Us Sanctuary and Rehabilitation Centre for Bears in 1992. He operates Bear with Us, caring for black bear cub orphans, injured bears and offering ever important education along with his wife and partner Ella.
